Helicord Setup

You can invite Helicord through the page we have set up for it on top.gg.

Setting up Helicord on your Discord server is quick and easy. Follow the steps below to get started:

1. Permissions

Helicord does not require any special permissions, but make sure it has the following access in your desired channels:

  • View Channel permission.

  • Send Messages permission.

Without these permissions, Helicord will not function properly.

2. Inviting Helicord

Invite Helicord to your Discord server using the provided invitation link.

3. Registering Your Server

  1. Make sure YOU have administrative permissions on the server. The bot will not comply to config otherwise.

  2. Make sure your discord account is registered with Helicord by sending the bot a dm with the message start. The Bot will let you know to do that if you still need to.

  3. In any channel where Helicord has access, type the following command: h!config.

  4. This command will register your server with Helicord, preparing it for use.

  5. On any channel that you want the bot to ignore commands on, you can type h!ignore.

  6. To change the h! prefix on your server, you can use the h!prefix command followed by the prefix that you want to use.

4. Setting Up Mission Drops

  1. Navigate to the channel where you want mission drops to appear.

  2. Type the h!config command again.

  3. This will designate the current channel for mission spawns.

5. Mission Spawn Details

  • Frequency: Missions will spawn in the designated channel every 10 minutes.

  • Activation: Mission spawns are triggered by activity in the server. Ensure members are actively sending messages to initiate mission drops after each cooldown period.
